About the Doctors
Dr. Sultan Sherzoy
Dr. Sultan Sherzoy graduated from New York University Dental School in 1992 and immediately opened his own private practice. For over 16 years, Dr. Sherzoy has been providing the Bogota New Jersey community with excellent dental care.
Dr. Sherzoy has taken many extensive continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry, mainly cosmetic dentistry, advanced prosthodontics and full mouth rehabilitation and root canal therapy.
In 2002, Dr. Sherzoy finished a 2 year residency program in NYU, for surgical placement of dental implants and restoration. Since graduating from of the program, Dr. Sherzoy has placed many implants and has successfully restored them.
Dr. Sherzoy is an active member of the ADA (American Dental Association), AGD (Academy of General Dentistry), ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologist) and AOI (Academy of Osseo Integration). He is also a fellow of ICOI, finally a regular attendee of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics.
Dr. Mina Ranzurmal
We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Mina to our dental team. Dr. Mina Ranzurmal received her B.S. in Chemistry from Fairfield University and her M.S. in Microbiology from Seton Hall University. She completed her DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Mina completed a one year General Practice Residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Paterson, NJ. She is an active member of the Hudson County, New Jersey and American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has a deep passion for dentistry and loves providing the most superior dental service to her patients.
Dr. Mina and I have talked over all aspects of our practice, and we find ourselves in agreement concerning patient care, comfort, and treatment. She and I, and the rest of the staff, are looking forward to working together. We are dedicated to continuing with our commitment to excellent patient care. Dr. Bernard Rupnarain
Dr. Bernard Rupnarain is currently in private practice in the field of Periodontics and Implants. Dr. Rupnarain is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry. He has been teaching and researching in the Periodontic field for the past 18 years.
He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from King George Medical College, Lucknow in 1981; his Master of Dental Science (M.S.D.) in Periodontics from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, Great Britain in 1987; and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, New York in 1995.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and an Active member of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Rupnarain is the author of several innovative presentations and publications in his field.
Dr. Aminyar
Dr. Aminyar graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1996. He also completed a year of postgraduate residency in General Practice Dentistry at King County Hospital Medical Center, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. As a result of his outstanding performance and his extraordinary ability to utilize knowledge into practice, he was offered a teaching position as an Attending soon after he completed the program. He accepted the part-time teaching position and instructed post graduate dental residents in all of aspects of dentistry. While teaching at Downstate Medical Center, he managed a successful private practice in Kew Gardens, NY.
In July 2005, Dr. Aminyar went back to school to pursue his passion for orthodontics. He started a postgraduate residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in Maimonides Medical Center and completed the program on July 2008. He is well educated and trained in all aspects of orthodontics including but not limited to traditional braces, clear braces, Invisalign and self ligating braces. Dr. Aminyar is highly qualified in treating children, adolescents and adults orthodontics. His experiences and education at Maimonides, has prepared him to be an impressive scholar and a distinguished practitioner in the orthodontics field.

Hi my name is Martha I started working a few years back with Dr. Sherzoy as an assistant. I attended the Dental Studies Institute for radiology, and throughout the years I have showed an interest in presenting treatments to patients and going over financial arrangements so we can help the patients with the proper treatment needed as well as assisting them with their dental work. I love to sit down with patients and try to help them with their dental needs as well with their financial ones.
At Bogota Dental Center we offer the best friendly staff and the best quality work and we stand behind our work. Through all my years and experience I was presented an offer I could not resist and that was that Dr. Sherzoy offered me to be the Office Manager with my new position I intend to be the best Office Manager around to help my patients as well as my staff in every way possible. I thank Dr. Sherzoy a lot for giving me a great opportunity in being the office manager, I will be the best one around. Hi, my name is Tracy. I graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale Illinois. I am registered Dental Hygienist and licensed in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Illinois. My husband and I moved to New Jersey in June of 2005 and after a long search for a new dental home, I was thrilled to join Dr. Sherzoy and the Bogota Dental Team.
My beliefs as a Dental Hygienist include being a periodontal therapist, preventive specialist, and a partner in lifetime care. I thrive for the opportunity to take my dental hygiene skills to the next level and beyond. My focus is on quality care for each individual patient. I feel at home at Bogota Dental Center because we all share in the same higher standard of dentistry, philosophy and ethical care for our patients.

Hi, my name is Michele. I received my A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from PBCC in Lake Worth, Florida and currently hold licenses in Florida, New York and New Jersey. I joined the Bogota Dental team in October of 2009, shortly after my marriage to my wonderful husband Greg.
My career in the dental field started 14 years ago as a dental assistant. Dental Hygiene was always my passion and I truly enjoy helping patients reach their optimal oral health. Because of this in 2003, I began taking classes that would allow me to reach my goal of becoming a Dental Hygienist. With a lot of perseverance and support from those around me I reached that goal in May of 2008.
As a hygienist, I strive to make a difference in changing the lives of our dental hygiene patients by providing exceptional dental care. I am currently continuing my education by means of the latest research in periodontics, soft tissue management and the newest available dental hygiene products. Knowledge is power and at Bogota Dental Center all the latest technology is utilized to help treat, educate and ultimately motivate our patients toward a winning smile.

Hello Everyone my name is Jessica. I am the receptionist at this practice and the first friendly face and smile you see when you first walk in the door. I have never worked in a dental firm before but I am a very experienced receptionist in the medical field. Previously I have worked at a gastroendoscopy office as a receptionist for many years. I have worked as a receptionist in a veterinarian office as well. I enjoy working at this practice, it’s like my second home. I have the privilege to greet the patients as they arrive. Hello my name is Lorraine. I joined The Bogota Dental Center in March 2009 looking for a career change. Since moving into the dental field I have found it to be both a fulfilling and challenging position. Seeing as I am the new patient coordinator and one of the first people you meet when you enter our office, my responsibilities include greeting patients, making sure they are properly cared for and are comfortable within our relaxing environment. At The Bogota Dental Center, we take pride in our patients’ health; they are our primary concern and priority!
We understand that patients already feel uneasy about visiting a dentist; however, our vision is to provide our patients with beautiful, long lasting dentistry in a soothing and pampering environment. I see to it that our new patients are able to schedule their appointments at a suitable time that it is convenient for them. Filling out forms can sometimes be a task, so I assist in making it is as painless as our dentistry, and I am always available if they should have any questions. Adding to my many qualities is that fact that I’m also fluent in Spanish. I look forward to meeting a lot of new patients in the future and revisiting with our current ones.

Hi my name is Carla Feliciano. I was born in a small town in New Jersey. While growing up as a child I remember always wishing that I could help those in need. After junior high school I decided to pursue my dental career. I started as an intern at the age of 14. It was a good feeling knowing I was helping others by allowing a patient to look in the mirror and see a beautiful smile and make them feel good about themselves.
After my internship and graduation of high school, I took my dedication to another level and went to Berdan Institute of Medical Technology in Totowa NJ. While attending the institute, I was assisting at other dental offices throughout Northern NJ. I was then certified by Allied Health School. I took the experience and knowledge I received and started applying as a full-time assistant. I was hired by Dr. Sherzoy to practice at Bogota Dental Center. It was in Bogota that I learned the important values of assisting.

Hello I'm Eliana - one of the assistants for Dr. Sherzoy. I was born in Columbia where I studied to be a dentist for four years. I then had the opportunity to relocate to New York were I started my career as a dental assistant with Dr. Rupnarain, the periodontist for Bogota Dental Center.
After living in NY for some time I moved to NJ and Dr. Rupnarain was kind enough to introduce me to Dr. Sherzoy and the staff at Bogota Dental Center. When Dr. Sherzoy gave me the opportunity to do what I love best and become one of his assistants I could not resist. It has been such a pleasure working with Dr. Sherzoy and the patients of Bogota Dental Center. I look forward to working with all of you in your future visits to our office.
